Picture: The exquisite Narrows features many beautiful state campsites among the 300 islands. At 2265 feet, Black Mountain is the lakes highest. The length of the lake is 32 miles and greatest width is 3 miles, with a maximum depth of 195 feet. Discovered in 1646 by Father Jogues, a French Jesuit missionary who named the lake Lac du St. Sacrement.
